Bidvest Top Turf is looking for a dynamic, agile, and hands-on Regional Operations Manager to lead our Gauteng Maintenance division. Based at our Head Office in Nietgedacht, you will oversee multiple Area Managers and support teams, ensuring we continue "rooting for a greener tomorrow."

🛠️ What You’ll Do:
As the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic and day-to-day operations of your region. Your core focus areas will include:
- Client Relations & Account Management: Act as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, managing relations, hosting ~64 scheduled meetings per month, and driving client retention and growth.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and monitor multiple Area Managers, support teams (Roving/Refuse), and workshop staff to ensure SLA compliance and peak performance.
- Operational & Financial Oversight: Manage operational budgets, fleet logistics, contract billing/invoicing accuracy, and look for "Odd Job" revenue-generation opportunities.
- Workshop & Technical Management: Oversee the maintenance workshop, leveraging your knowledge of tractors, welding, and mechanical repairs for vehicles and equipment.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure strict adherence to ISO 9001 quality management systems, health and safety regulations, and corporate image guidelines.
🎯 What We Are Looking For:
- Education: Tertiary qualification in Horticulture is essential.
- Experience: 10–15 years of robust Operations Experience within the green industry or related sectors.
- Technical Skills:
- Excellent computer literacy.
- Practical experience in welding and mechanical repairs for vehicles/equipment.
- Strong knowledge of tractors.
- Leadership & Attributes:
- Proven track record of managing Area Managers and high-profile corporate accounts.
- Outstanding team leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- An agile mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
