This role will be based in Mpumalanga
– Sabi Lowveld area

Responsibilities

Achievement of net profit growth for the Region

Achieve revenue targets by either growing a portfolio of existing clients (optimising revenue opportunities) or by acquiring new clients.

Establish, align and manage target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency

Deliverexceptional servicethat exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive,innovativeand appropriate solutions

Manage the growth of the active customer Account Base to increase the client base

Maximise Business Portfolio cross-sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships

Track, control and influence sales activities with the specific aim to achieve previously determined sales team targets

Translate strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant projects / initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progress

Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements

Coordinate and facilitate all approved strategic projects.

Research Market positioning and develop and optimise market intelligence, new business management, advances and management reporting

Plan and execute campaigns successfully and on schedule. Set standards and benchmarks for measuring successful campaign execution

Monitor costs / benefits per campaign/channel. Maintain operational accountability for all campaign execution

Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence (information) together with analyzing trends and data

Manage own development to increase own competencies

Plan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent and culture of the team in order to improveinnovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competencies

Qualifications

Relevant Bachelor’s degree / NQF Level 5 working towards completing a degree

5 years plus relevant sales experience

Experience in banking within branch or field

Insurance sales related experience

Driver’s license and own car is a non-negotiable

Experience in managing a team

Ability to work well under pressure
