About
The Role
In this role you will drive and maintain revenue growth within the admissions team by coordinating admissions processes, implementing engagement strategies, and ensuring the promotion and sale of Hyperion Dev education products. You will collaborate with the Head of Departments to refine strategy, optimise lead‑to‑sale conversion ratios, and manage lead‑generation spend. As an experienced manager you will take accountability for your team, support the Head of your Department in defining admissions strategy and metrics, and inspire ownership and growth within a fast‑growing startup culture.
Responsibilities
- Direct line management of team captains responsible for senior/admissions consultants (performance, people, and operations management)
- Ability to work US hours alongside your team
- Manage our US university partner performance (sales performance, people, and operations management)
- Implement best practices within the team to engage leads and advise them on course choice and enrollment
- Create and manage shift schedules to service various target market regions
- Coordinate your team to achieve required KPIs and exceed the monthly revenue target
- Ensure team activity targets and SLAs are achieved (calls, emails, chats, inbound activity, etc.)
- Maintain strong, long‑term relationships with our company and finance partners
- Train junior or new admissions staff members as needed
- Ensure all administration relating to admissions is completed effectively
- Work closely with other teams to identify opportunities to optimise enrollments or scale revenue
- Contribute to process improvements
- Monitor competitor activity within the e‑learning space (within and outside your designated regions)
- Identify opportunities for new business within the market
- Schedule and host webinars on a frequent basis
- Coordinate and host open days on campuses (JHB and Cape Town) if applicable to your region
- Assist in launching new university partners by implementing a communication and training strategy for the admissions team
- Conduct quality assurance through call and email reviews, providing regular feedback to admissions consultants
- Conduct training (first‑time and refresher) for the admissions team on product knowledge, systems, sales skills, company policies, and operations
- Perform admissions consultant duties if/when required (conduct calls, respond to emails)
- Provide accurate and consistent reporting to the Director of Revenue/Head of Marketing (sales revenue, sales activity, university performance, lead volume, lead quality)
