Refrigeration Engineer Jobs in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal 4004 at Crew Life at Sea
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform regular maintenance and inspections on all refrigeration and air conditioning systems On Board Cruise Ship
– Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise with the equipment
– Monitor and record system performance and make adjustments as needed
– Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
– Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
– Assist with the ordering and inventory of spare parts and supplies
– Train and supervise junior engineering staff in the operation and maintenance of refrigeration systems
– Communicate effectively with the Chief Engineer and other crew members to ensure smooth operation of all systems on board
Requirements:
– Minimum of 2 years experience as a Refrigeration Engineer
– Strong knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
– Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
– Physically fit and able to work in a variety of weather conditions
