Recruitment Specialist Jobs in South Africa at HIREXE
Title: Recruitment Specialist
Company: HIREXE
Location: South Africa
Embedded Recruiter – South Africa, fully remote (EST Hours)
A US and UK embedded recruitment firm. ~170 recruiters, adding 12 to 15 a month, already running South Africans alongside their London team. Permanent, hired directly by them. UK or US East Coast hours.
Embedded means you sit inside the client’s business: their Slack, their ATS, their standups. Introduced as part of their team, not as an agency. Several roles at once across unrelated industries: GTM, engineering and product, corporate functions.
Responsibilities:
- Intake and calibration. Go deep on the product, comp structure, competitive position, and what separates their top performers from their average ones. A target profile, not a job ad.
- Outbound sourcing at volume. Talent-map competitors, build title lists, run Boolean and X-ray, work multi-channel outreach. Most roles are hunted, not filled from inbound.
- Screening and shortlisting. Every candidate assessed before the client sees them. A curated shortlist with a written recommendation, not a pile of CVs.
- Process ownership. Scheduling, candidate comms, coaching before each round, debriefs after.
- Offer and close. Structure off live market comp data, manage expectations from call one so acceptance is expected, not hoped for.
- Post-hire check-ins at 30, 60 and 90 days.
Pace is real: deployed 48 hours after kickoff, 14-day time-to-hire target. Sourcing team behind you, senior oversight, full stack: LOXO, LinkedIn Recruiter, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Clay.
Requirements:
- 3+ years full-cycle: agency, embedded, RPO or in-house
- Genuine US or UK delivery. Not “supported a US team” but requisitions you owned
- Boolean and X-ray as habit, not something you Google
- Numbers: roles carried, placements, time to fill, offer-accept
- ATS fluency; LOXO, or transferable from Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Bullhorn
- You can run an intake with a US or UK hiring manager and push back on a bad brief
- Fibre with tested backup, inverter or UPS, quiet space for client calls
Nice to haves:
- AI actually in your workflow. Not tools you’ve tried; what you automated, what it replaced, what it gave you back
- Depth in one vertical on top of generalist range: SaaS GTM, engineering, healthcare, manufacturing
- Embedded or RPO background rather than pure agency
