Malander is seeking an experienced and dedicated Recruitment and Talent Manager. The Recruitment and Talent Manager role at Malander Advisory is pivotal in driving the firm’s talent acquisition and management strategies, ensuring the delivery of exceptional recruitment solutions tailored to client needs. This position combines leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence to oversee the recruitment process, build strong client relationships, and mentor team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, skills verification, and competency testing, while ensuring timely communication and feedback to all candidates to maintain a positive employer brand.
Collaborate with hiring panels to evaluate candidates, document findings, and prepare detailed and competitive offer letters; manage offer negotiations and formalization processes efficiently.
Conduct comprehensive reference and background checks, including employment history, education verification, and criminal record screening, to ensure candidate suitability.
Coordinate pre-onboarding logistics, such as finalizing start dates, collecting required documentation, and arranging equipment and access with HR and operations teams.
Manage internal communication by notifying teams of new hires, providing handover documentation, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
Maintain regular engagement with new hires before their start date and continuously evaluate and refine recruitment processes based on feedback.
Administer a robust and secure candidate database, organizing and categorizing profiles by industry, skill, and location while ensuring GDPR and data protection compliance.
Regularly update candidate profiles, track communication history, and log employment status changes to keep the database current and actionable.
Use advanced filtering and keyword optimization tools for effective candidate shortlisting and implement data quality assurance practices to maintain accuracy.
Leverage the database for targeted communication, personalized follow-ups, and proactive outreach, enhancing candidate engagement and recruitment pipeline strength.
Generate reports and analyze data on talent pool trends, recruitment performance, and skills gaps to inform strategic hiring decisions.
Cultivate relationships with key potential candidates and alumni through networking events, mentorship programs, social media engagement, and career development support.
Host events and develop exclusive programs to attract top talent while maintaining long-term loyalty and goodwill among high-potential individuals.
Track engagement and conversion metrics to assess the effectiveness of candidate and alumni strategies.
Drive business development by identifying new client opportunities, cross-selling recruitment solutions, and tracking revenue growth and client acquisition progress.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Qualifications: BCom or equivalent degree
Experience: 3–5 years in a recruitment management and HR role, preferably within a consulting or similar environment
