Recruitment Compliance Administrator Jobs in City of Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa at Instant Impact

Title: Recruitment Compliance Administrator

Company: Instant Impact

Location: City of Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa

We are currently representing a leading global legal services provider in the appointment of a Recruitment Compliance Administrator, based in Cape Town, as part of a period of continued growth and investment in their international operations.

Our client operates at the intersection of legal services and flexible talent solutions, partnering law firms and in-house legal teams with high-calibre contract lawyers across multiple jurisdictions. Backed by a globally recognised professional services brand, the business is scaling its operational infrastructure to support an expanding international contractor base.

This is a varied, hands-on role at the centre of the contractor lifecycle — from interview coordination and onboarding through to compliance, payments, and offboarding. You’ll be the go-to point of contact for contract lawyers on assignment, working across legal, HR, IT, finance, and risk stakeholders to keep everything running smoothly, accurately, and to the highest standard of regulatory rigour.

What you’ll be doing

  • Coordinating the end-to-end lifecycle of contract professionals — interview scheduling, onboarding, compliance checks, and offboarding
  • Managing documentation, screening, and audit-readiness across the contractor base
  • Acting as a day-to-day point of contact, resolving queries and escalations with professionalism and discretion
  • Supporting audits and quality assurance reviews, identifying and helping resolve findings
  • Collaborating with legal, HR, finance, and risk teams to maintain governance and process consistency

What we’re looking for

  • Strong attention to detail and a genuine enjoyment of variety in a role — no two days the same
  • A background in legal or professional services administration, recruitment, or compliance is highly relevant
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats and acting as an escalation point when things get complex
  • Experience with UK employment or contractor compliance frameworks (e.g. Right to Work checks; IR35 knowledge)
  • A customer-service mindset, with the ability to build trust with contractors and stakeholders alike

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, internationally connected organisation at a genuinely exciting point of growth — for someone who wants variety, ownership, and the chance to build real expertise in a specialist, high-demand area of legal operations.
