Role Overview:
Our client is a UK-based recruitment firm specialising in real estate and property, looking to hire a Recruiter based in Cape Town. This role combines business development and candidate management, working closely with UK clients and candidates. It’s suited to someone who is commercially minded, enjoys building relationships, and wants to grow into managing their own clients over time.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Building relationships with UK-based clients and identifying new business opportunities
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from briefing through to placement
- Sourcing, engaging, and headhunting candidates within the real estate / property sector
- Conducting candidate interviews and assessing suitability beyond the CV
- Managing candidate pipelines and maintaining consistent communication
- Challenging and qualifying both client requirements and candidate expectations
- Contributing to a high-performance, collaborative team environment
Minimum Requirements:
- Ideally 3–4+ years’ experience in a fast paced recruitment role
- Experience or exposure to real estate / property recruitment is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone
- Commercial mindset with a natural interest in business development
- Comfortable engaging new candidates, building rapport quickly, and handling objections
- Able to learn quickly and apply information in a practical, confident way
What You Should Know:
- Work with a UK-based firm in a specialist, established market
- Exposure to international clients and candidates
- A high-performance environment where effort and results are recognised
- Salary is between R22,000 – R30,000 per month plus R3,500 commission per successful placement. For an offer of R30,000 per month, you will have demonstrable experience.
- The expectation is that you’ll make 3 – 4 placements per month
- You will receive a R5,000 bonus if you make 5 placements in one month
