Purpose of the role:
Reporting to the Manager:
Customer Care, the successful incumbent is accountable to coordinate front desk activities by ensuring a pleasant welcoming and outgoing of The Company visitors and attending to telephone queries.
Minimum Requirements and
Experience:
- Matric or Grade 12 certificate.
- Relevant Secretarial certification would be advantageous
- Relevant 1 year experience in similar environment.
- Experience working in the public sector would be advantageous
- Proficiency in English and preferably one other official language.
- Persons with disabilities (PWD) are encouraged to apply.
Key Performance Areas:
Attend to Queries
- Assists claimants who visit The Company in establishing the status of their claim.
- Assists claimants to complete the necessary documentation on how to lodge their claims by explaining the claims process.
- Providing information relating to claims process and procedure.
- Responds to telephonic enquiries.
Ensure that the Front Desk is Receptive
- Receive all visitors at the front desk by greeting and welcoming them.
- Establish who the visitors are and informs the appropriate person of visitor or visitors.
Switchboard Administration
- Attend to switchboard calls.
- Direct callers to the relevant departments or employees.
- Assist callers with non-operational enquiries
- Receives booking requests for consultation rooms and makes booking on the system.
