Job Overview:

We are looking for a professional and friendly Receptionist to manage front desk operations, provide excellent customer service, and ensure smooth communication within the company. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a welcoming attitude, and excellent telephone etiquette.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk & Switchboard Management

Answer and manage calls professionally using the Mytel Switchboard System.

Greet and direct visitors in a warm and professional manner.

Handle incoming and outgoing messages, ensuring prompt delivery via phone or email.

Direct callers and visitors to the correct departments or personnel.

Administrative & Reception Duties

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.

Accept and distribute deliveries from couriers and suppliers.

Assist with basic administrative support as needed.

Report any maintenance issues in the reception area.

Customer Service & Problem-Solving

Identify and address reception-related requirements daily.

Provide accurate information to employees, customers, and visitors.

Maintain confidentiality and secure storage of sensitive information.

Follow company policies and standard operating procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12) Required
Relevant tertiary qualification Advantageous
Minimum 2 years experience in a receptionist or similar role
Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills
Customer service-oriented with a welcoming demeanor
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and logical thinking
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
