Key Outputs
- Disassemble, inspect, evaluate, and assemble components to OEM standard.
- Compile accurate component analysis and reports
- Maintain professional image when representing BWE
- Warranty remans returns
- Compile component condition / failure reports
- Safety Orientated
- Repair and maintain CAT equipment
Qualification, Experience And Competencies
- Matric or equivalent
- Qualified in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) NQF 3
- Component specific technical knowledge and skills
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills and basic technical report writing
- Basic business and financial understanding
- Computer Literacy (SIS, STW & ET) knowledge
- Component rebuilding experience – minimum 5 years
- Applicable product knowledge
- Drivers licence – Code C1
- Understanding of supplier warranty systems, policies & procedures
- Engine Dyno experience as an advantage
