The Quality Supervisor is accountable for overseeing the day-to-dayquality controloperations to ensure all products meet customer requirements and comply with quality standards. This role manages and trains the quality team, implements and assesses the effectiveness of corrective and preventative measures, and actively promotes a strong quality culture across the plant. The Quality Supervisor will engage in systematicproblem-solving, develop and refine processes, and ensure quality checks are maintained within required tolerances.
This role involves reporting on daily quality findings, identifying quality trends, and maintaining comprehensive records of quality performance metrics.
Additionally, the Quality Supervisor will manage nonconforming products, issue conformance certificates, and conduct risk assessments to mitigate potential quality issues. They will monitor and maintain quality equipment calibration and ensure the quality work area is organized and safe. As part of thecontinuous improvementprocess, the Quality Supervisor will track and trend supplier returns and customer goods returns, conducting root cause analysis and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to implement corrective and preventative measures, verifying their effectiveness.
Through strongleadershipandcollaboration, this role contributes to a plant-wide commitment to quality, building awareness and accountability among all team members.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Quality Control
Management
Oversee dailyquality controloperations to ensure products meet customer requirements and internal quality standards
Ensure daily checks are performed within required tolerances and maintain adherence to quality protocols
Focus on lean manufacturing methodology for quality system improvement
Team Leadership
and Development
Lead, train, and manage the quality team
Develop and guide the team to enhance performance, technical skills, and adherence to quality standards
Create and sustain a quality-focused culture across the plant, fostering accountability and awareness of quality among all team members
Ensure that all team members follow policies, procedures, and meet health and safety requirements
Promote and maintain discipline and accountability within the team
Skills Development and Training
Develop and maintain a skills matrix to track competencies and identify skills gaps
Provide targeted training to ensure team members are knowledgeable in required policies, procedures, and quality standards
Conduct performance reviews of team members
