One of our clients, an international manufacturer of automotive components, has an opening for a Quality Lead.
Reporting to: Quality Manager.
Primary purpose of job:
Effectively, develop, implement and maintain quality systems to ensure capable processes that parts are produced according to customer requirements.
Key performance areas:
- Manage performance of subordinates.
- Maintain quality systems according to ISO & OEM system requirements.
- Ensure that all customer requirements are met.
- Continuous improvement of product quality and systems by analysing performance and implementing corrective action when required.
- Assist the Quality Manager to establish and maintain quality department budget.
- Manage plant and customer requests / complaints.
- Manage plant quality performance indicators.
- Facilitate problem solving in the plant.

- Auditing skills – continuously develop and manage process/product audits & general audit reports with defined corrective action and timing.
Min qualifications / experience required:
- BTech Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
- Total Quality Management
- IATF 16949 standards
- Internal Auditor
- Quality core tools
- Six Sigma Green Belt
- Project management
- Leadership skills
- Minimum 5-year experience in the manufacturing environment
- Minimum 3-year experience on press tools or assembly process
- Minimum 5-year experience in automotive industry
