Tangent International are urgently looking for a Quality Engineer to work a 3 month rolling contract based in Johannesburg, South Africa

Responsibility:

Identify quality risks in project delivery and drive the implementation of preventive and corrective measures.
Develop, implement, and monitor quality management plans, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead installation quality training for subcontractor teams to ensure compliance with project and client standards.
Conduct project quality inspections and spot checks, audit subcontractor quality reports, and coordinate with acceptance teams to complete site acceptance.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Good proficiency in Afrikaans language.
Minimum 3 years of experience in quality management within the telecommunications industry; familiarity with MTN installation standards is an advantage.
Solid knowledge of telecom equipment, including RAN, transmission (TX), and power systems.
Strong understanding of civil works, including tower foundations, tower erection, fencing, aprons, plinths, cabinets (including recticulation), and power installation requirements.
Basic understanding of site design, radio planning principles, and infrastructure layout.
Valid Working-at-Height / Climbing Certificate.
Vetting Status (Bidvest vetted).
Driver License.
Medical Certificate (OMP).
Personal Computer (Laptop).
