RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established FMCG company, is seeking a skilled and experiencedQuality ControlManager specializing in Chemistry & Microbiology. As theQuality ControlManager, you will ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of products through effective management of the Chemistry and Microbiology laboratories. You will be responsible for overseeing analytical testing, method validation, equipment qualification, and documentation review.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the operations of the Chemistry and Microbiology laboratories
Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and other relevant regulations and guidelines
Develop and implementquality controlprocedures and protocols
Perform method validation and verification for analytical procedures
Lead investigations into out-of-specification results and implement corrective actions
Ensure timely completion of analytical testing for materials, intermediate, and finished products
Review and approve laboratory documentation, including test methods, specifications, and reports
Provide technical expertise and guidance to laboratory staff
Participate in internal and external audits and inspections
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in aQuality Controlrole within the FMCG industry
Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and industry best practices
Experience with analytical testing methods and instrument qualification
Excellentproblem-solvingand decision-making skills
Strongleadershipandcommunication skills
Attention to detailand ability to work in afast-paced environment
Benefits
Salary: R950k – R850k per annum
