Are you a skilled and qualified welder with a passion for precision and quality craftsmanship? Join our team at Equalizer, a leading manufacturer of agricultural planting and seeding equipment, where your experience and expertise will help shape the future of farming technology. We’re looking for a Qualified Welder to support our fabrication team with high-quality welding work, component assembly, and mentorship of junior team members.
Qualification, Skills & Experience:
Qualified as a red seal Welder.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in MIG welding (TIG welding are a plus).
Proven ability to read and work from technical drawings and blueprints.
Experience with agricultural, industrial, or heavy equipment fabrication.
Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality.
Demonstrated ability to mentor junior welders or boilermakers.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to plan and execute fabrication tasks.
Take accurate measurements and determine appropriate welding techniques and tools for each job.
Set up materials and components for welding in line with engineering specifications.
Fabricate, assemble, and weld parts and subassemblies using jigs, fixtures, and workshop equipment.
Mentor and support semi-skilled welders and boilermakers, sharing knowledge and maintaining high workmanship standards.
Daily Tasks:
Assemble and weld components to meet production and quality standards.
Use a variety of hand and power tools to shape, cut, and finish metal parts.
Perform visual and dimensional quality checks on completed work.
Read and follow parts lists and weldment drawings to position components accurately.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to SOPs and safety regulations.
Accurately document production output and quality checks.
Enter job data timeously and correctly into the Rite Time system.
