Duties & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and talented qualified mechanic / technician to join our dynamic team in a top-rated mechanical workshop.
In this position, you will be responsible for repairing and servicing all bikes, of all brands.
To succeed in this role, you should be physically and mentally fit and have a solid knowledge of basic mechanic’s tools, service, and diagnostic equipment.
Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and diagnostic and service skills to effectively diagnose and fix right the first time.
Mechanic Responsibilities:
Perform vehicle assessments and conduct regular maintenance.
Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.
Complete job cards accurate with repairs and parts required, and maintenance records.
Desired Experience & Qualification
A valid South African driver’s licence.
Must be computer literate.
High school diploma and certification from trade school is preferred.
A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Work experience on all makes and models.
In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.
Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.
Ensuring all critical parts are checked and tested
Performing minor and major services.
Be able to do full overhaul of all vehicle components.
