SUMMARY:
Our client an engineering company in Johannesburg is looking for a Qualified Electrician / Technician.
POSITION INFO:
Our client is a control gear & electronic control card manufacturing company, based in Johannesburg South.
They are looking for a qualified electrician / Technician to lead a team of 6 workshop staff and attend to breakdowns.
Minimum Requirements:
5 Years+ Experience
No criminal record or ITC listings
Own reliable transport with a CODE 08 license
Well spoken & tidy
Fluent in English & Afrikaans (read, speak & write)
Computer literate – Microsoft office, word, excel & outlook
Must:
- have experience in Panel Building & reading electrical diagrams
- able to draw on AUTOCAD & E-PLAN will be advantageous
- have strong fault finding skills
- Electronic component experience will be advantageous
- PLC programming will be advantageous
- be willing to work limited overtime, if required
Duties will include:
Electrical Diagrams & Redlines on AUTOCAD
Bill of Materials
Manage day to day running of the workshop & staff
Ring out, test and complete test reports for manufactured control gear
Factory Acceptance tests with clients
Commission Equipment
Callouts
CV must include a recent photograph as well as previous payslip & salary expectation.
