QA and Support Analyst Jobs in Stellenbosch, South Africa at Communicate IT
One of our clients, a trailblazing fintech company expanding across Africa, is seeking a QA & Support Analyst to safeguard their growing platform. You will test, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, contributing directly to their expansion across Zambia, South Africa, Uganda, and Kenya.
Responsibilities
Own second-line support and perform root cause analysis.
Design and execute test plans, scripts, and perform regression testing.
Collaborate with product owners and developers to improve performance, stability, and support.
Provide weekend standby support for critical issues.
Ensure software is bug-free, secure, and ready for release.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years in QA or support roles (experience in both is a plus).
Proficiency in SQL for data validation.
ISTQB certification or equivalent.
Experience in root cause analysis, regression testing, and bug tracking.
Strong documentation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Passion for clean releases, scalable platforms, and Africa’s fintech growth.
Qualifications
Relevant technical qualification or certification in Quality Assurance.
ISTQB Certification is required.
