Location: Boksburg
We are seeking a skilled Pumps Technician with a Millwright qualification to join our client’s team based in Boksburg . The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of various pump systems. This role requires both mechanical and electrical expertise, as well as a proactive, safety-conscious mindset.
Key Responsibilities :
Install, maintain, and repair various types of industrial pumps and associated equipment.
Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults and perform corrective action.
Align and balance pump components to manufacturer specifications.
Maintain accurate service records, including job cards and maintenance logs.
Adhere to health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Provide technical support to clients and internal teams as required.
Participate in standby and call-out duties when necessary.
Minimum Requirements :
Qualified Millwright (Red Seal trade certificate).
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working on pumps and pumping systems.
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
Familiarity with VSDs, motors, seals, bearings, and other pump-related components.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
