Strategic Planning & Campaign Development
Develop integrated marketing and communications strategies aligned with organizational objectives and stakeholder needs.
Conceptualize and execute 360° marketing campaigns (ATL, BTL, TTL) across multiple platforms, ensuring brand consistency and measurable impact.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and audience segmentation to inform campaign strategies.
Content Creation & Brand Management
Lead the creation of compelling visual and written content for print, digital, radio, outdoor, and multimedia platforms.
Develop brand messaging frameworks and ensure consistent application across all communication channels.
Manage content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of awareness, education, and priority campaigns.
Digital & Social Media Leadership
Design and implement social media strategies (Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) to enhance engagement and brand visibility.
Oversee community management, including real-time engagement, crisis communication, and reputation management.
Produce live streaming and digital engagement for events, announcements, and interactive campaigns.
Monitor social media analytics and adjust strategies to optimize performance and ROI.
Media Relations & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and key stakeholders to amplify brand messaging.
Draft press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership articles to enhance public perception.
Coordinate interview opportunities, press conferences, and media briefings as needed.
Event & Project Management
Plan and execute integrated marketing events, including launches, webinars, and stakeholder engagements.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless campaign execution.
Track KPIs and campaign performance, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
Minimum Requirements – Education & Certification
NQF Level 6 or higher in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Advertising.
At least two professional accreditations from:
International Association of Business Communicators (IABC)
Public Relations Institute of South Africa (PRISA)
Marketing Association of South Africa (MASA)
Digital Marketing Institute (DMI)
Experience
3+ years of post-qualification experience in PR, marketing, or digital communications.
