NMCI Medical Clinic is a multidisciplinary center with decades of experience in providing care for patients all throughout Northern California. We are looking for an experienced clinical psychologist to provide consultation and evaluation services in an outpatient setting to patients who need mental health services as a result of a work injury. In this role, you will provide psychotherapy for individuals and groups while utilizing a wide range of intervention modalities that support positive mental health & enhanced individual functioning. As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will also work closely with Primary Treating Physicians supporting a Functional Restoration Program (FRP). This position will be working from our office in Sacramento.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological services such as standardized depression screening, cognitive and behavioral therapies, skills training, supportive therapy and stress management.
- Provide mental health care to patients before, during or after FRP.
- Serve as a guest lecturer to educate patients on mental health topics including psychological strategies for chronic pain management and mood management.
Requirements:
- Current California Licensure
- Doctoral degree in Psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) approved program in clinical psychology
- Experience in workers compensation and/or chronic pain management or fellowship training a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Pay: $60.00 – $75.00 per hour
