Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Property Portfolio Manager at Index Property Management, located in the Durban Metropolitan Area. Responsibilities include overseeing a portfolio of residential and industrial properties, coordinating property maintenance, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting sound financial administration. The role also involves acting as a key liaison for trustees, landlords, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and fostering positive working relationships.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Portfolio Management Real Estate
- Strong knowledge of Sectional Title Property Management
- Proficiency in managing property portfolios or related managerial experience
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with trustees, landlords, and other stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with housing and governance regulations
- Strong financial acumen and experience in financial administration
- Ability to coordinate maintenance and upkeep for diverse property types
- Solid understanding of sectional title schemes and regulatory frameworks such as CSOS would be an added advantage
