Maintenance Technician
First Cumberland Properties currently has an opening for a Maintenance Technician in Nashville, TN. HVAC certification and knowledge is a must and apartment/ multi- housing property maintenance experience is required.
Property maintenance is required to:
· Complete grounds work and work orders as directed by Property Manager.
· Maintain community appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed on timely basis. This requires regular community inspections.
· Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed by the Property Manager.
· Complete a variety of interior and exterior repairs including: basic electrical, plumbing, drywall/paint, HVAC systems and appliances.
· Maintain a professional courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
· Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance on-call service as scheduled.
· Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
· Ability to balance multiple priorities.
· Regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
· Frequently required to walk, climb or balance.
· Frequently required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
· Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and on occasions, move more than 50 pounds.
· HVAC certification required
· Valid driver’s license
· Must have reliable transportation.
