Basic Functions
• Develop project schedules using Gantt and PERT charts.
• Prepare project baseline programmes and milestone schedules.
• Monitor project progress against approved plans.
• Identify delays, risks, and deviations from schedule.
• Prepare dashboards, histograms, reports, and planning tools.
• Coordinate input from project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Support tender programmes and project planning requirements.
• Provide resource forecasting and schedule updates.
• Attend project meetings and report on progress.
• Support project controls, planning, and scheduling activities.
Requirements
• Grade 12.
• Primavera, Candy, or MS Projects experience required.
• 5–10 years’ planning experience.
• Experience in construction, civils, bulk earthworks, building, electrical, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong scheduling and project controls knowledge.
• Good report-writing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
