Mission:The mission of the Project Planner is to oversee rebuild projects and maintenance interventions for a fleet of drill rigs. This role demands strongproject managementskills, extensive experience in heavy equipment or mining operations, and effectiveteam leadership. The Project Manager/Planner is responsible for ensuring all rebuilds and major interventions are completed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring the reliability of equipment.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Scheduling:
Develop and manage detailed plans and schedules, ensuring all resources are in place.
Oversight & Coordination:
Monitor project phases, address deviations, and ensure smooth progress.
Team Leadership:
Lead and support a team in executing rebuilds and major interventions, including overseeing daily operations.
Budget Management:
Track and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
Quality & Standards Compliance:
Ensure all activities meet quality standards and safety regulations.
StakeholderCommunication:
Maintain clearcommunicationwith stakeholders and provide regular updates.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Documentation & Reporting:
Keep accurate project documentation for compliance and easy reference.
Continuous Improvement:
Collaborate with the team to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimise reliability.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Engineering,Project Management, Business, or a related field.
