Duties & Responsibilities
Project Management
Lead and direct concurrent standard or complex projects.
Engage with stakeholders to take projects from original concept through final delivery.
Provide pre-sales support by working with sales teams to scope and cost a project solution.
Manage the delivery of the projects through Project Managers, including rigorous scope control andchange management.
Manage escalations, acting as the single point of contact.
Manage Project Managers to enable project teams to deliver against performance expectations.
Daily Support and Management
Improve methods of carrying out work throughon-the-job training.
Ensure that workflow continues without interruption.
Ensure efficient and effective performance and turnaround.
Financial Management/Cost Containment/Coordination And Alignment
Manage and optimise project budgets within budgetary objectives.
Identify and eliminate non-contributory expenses.
Ensure all legal, regulatory and client compliance has been followed to avoid penalties or fines.
Issue Bill of Quantities (BOQ), obtain quotes and prepare Business Cases.
Know project contracts in detail and manage projects to ensure there are no penalties incurred.
OHS Act And Risk Management
Undertake regular site inspections to ensure contractors comply with OHS Act standards.
Ensure required risk assessments and safety files are on record.
Ensure contractors provide Waste Management schedules.

Built Environment related degree – BSc QS, Construction, Architecture

Experience in working with construction sites.
