Project Manager – National Skills Competitions Jobs in Bloemfontein at Fossa Technologies
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of the National Skills Competitions, focused on 4IR/5IR innovation. The role requires strong leadership, coordination, stakeholder management, and reporting skills across a complex national initiative.
Responsibilities:
Lead the full project lifecycle from awareness campaigns to post-competition incubation
Coordinate cross-functional teams across 9 provinces
Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and resources
Engage with educational institutions, industry partners, and government stakeholders
Ensure POPIA-compliant data management
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience in managing hackathons, digital skills competitions, or national youth innovation programs
Strong background in project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum/PMBOK)
Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field
Exceptional organizational and reporting skills
Willingness to travel nationally
Preferred:
PMP, Prince2, or Agile Certification
