Role Description
This is a full-time Project Manager role based in Johannesburg with a hybrid work arrangement allowing some work from office (60%) and onsite in the field (40%). The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of FIBRE telecom projects within the FTTH rural space. Responsibilities include expediting processes, ensuring timely inspections, managing logistics, and optimizing project management workflows to achieve project goals and milestones. The role will be focused predominantly on the civil elements, but also partly on the fiber activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in Project Management – minimum 3 yrs
- Skills in Quality Management
- Inspection and quality assurance capabilities
- Logistics Management expertise
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in the telecoms industry is a must >3yrs
- Full clean drivers license (code 10 and PDP will be an advantage)
- Ability to lead teams and resource with different cultures
- Asset and vehicle management
- Managing Deadlines and Client expectations are KEY
- HSE qualifications will be an advantage
