Project Manager – Manufacturing / Custom Machinery
Location: Western Cape
A leading manufacturer of custom-built machinery is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage engineering projects from customer order through to installation, commissioning, and final sign-off. The successful candidate will coordinate project scope, timelines, budgets, technical support, and customer communication while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
Key Requirements
N3 Technical Qualification with a Mechanical background (Project Management qualification advantageous).
Minimum 5 years' experience in a custom-built machinery, OEM, engineering, capital equipment, or manufacturing environment.
Proven experience managing or coordinating engineering/manufacturing projects.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and machine installations.
Proficient in MS Project, MS Excel, and MS Word; CAD knowledge is advantageous.
Excellent organisational, planning, and customer communication skills.
Fluent in English; Afrikaans is advantageous.
