Incomar is an aerospace and defence company based in Centurion, South Africa. We are continuously expanding our specialised product development and flight operations capabilities. The group was established in South Africa in 1999, with its origins in military aircraft weapons and avionics integration and flight testing. The company is well established in the local and international industry, with a strong capability in several specialist areas, including:
Systems Design, Development and Integration.
System Testing on a range of platforms / products.
Product Development.
Flight Test Execution and Support.
Incomar is looking for a motivated individual to join the Incomar Project Management Team. This individual will be incorporated into a team consisting of personnel from the Projects, Engineering and Flight Operations departments to help manage and achieve project objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Applicable Bachelor’s Degree or Tertiary Qualification.
Required
Skills and Experience:
3+ years of experience in an engineering or aviation project environment.
Ability to interact with internal and external parties.
Knowledge or experience in budgeting and budget management.
Knowledge or experience with project management software tools, methodologies and best practices.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to work within set budgets and timelines.
Knowledge or experience in risk and change management.
Proficient in MS Office.
Preferred
Skills and Experience:
Experience in defence and/or aviation environment is preferred.
Experience in a management / leadership position is preferred.
Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:
Ensure that project tasks are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
Participate in project planning and monitoring activities.
Compile and present project reports to internal and external stakeholders including schedule, budget, risk, resource and technical aspects.
Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines and schedules.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of tasks.
Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
Manage the relationship with all stakeholders of allocated tasks.
Perform risk management.
Manage projects and tasks in accordance with Incomar processes, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, reporting and closure.
Manage project and task deliverables and quality standards adherence.
Measure task performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
Conducting post task evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful task elements.
Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
Apply sound ethical principles.
