Job Duties:
Lead and manage projects and consulting initiatives within the mining sector.
Develop and implement project management frameworks tailored to mining operations.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies using industry best practices.
Conduct project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Monitor project performance, prepare progress reports, and communicate with key stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to align project goals with organizational objectives.
Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Utilize project management tools (such as MS Project) for scheduling and reporting.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Strategic thinking with a focus on results and value delivery.
High-level negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Must be able to schedule in MS Project (Primavera P6 bonus)
Education:
Relevant Degree or Diploma
Experience:
Minimum 10 – 15 years of relevant experience in managing projects in the mining industry
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Strong leadership and team management skills
Understanding of mining industry practises and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Master’s degree in Project Management or related field
