This leading Wealth Management & Investment Firm is revolutionising wealth management and investment services, and they need top-tier SITE RELIABILITY ENGINEER (SRE) to keep their systems secure, scalable, and highly available.
This SRE role offers REMOTE WORKING (from anywhere within SOUTH AFRICA
) and a salary of R1.1 million to R1.3 million
.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Ensuring Reliability & Performance: Design, monitor, and optimise highly available, fault-tolerant infrastructure for the financial platforms.
Automating Everything: Develop CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and automated monitoring to minimise downtime.
Incident Management & Root Cause Analysis: Proactively detect, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues before they impact users.
Scaling & Security: Optimise system scalability, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement security best practices.
Collaboration with Dev & Ops: Work closely with engineering, Dev Ops, and security teams to drive continuous improvement.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Strong Cloud
Experience:
AWS, Azure, or GCP, (Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker!).
Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation & infrastructure management.
Observability & Monitoring:Hands-on experience with Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or Datadog.
Resilience Engineering:Proven track record of building self-healing, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems.
Financial Services or Regulated Industry
Experience:
(a plus, but not a deal breaker).
