Position: Project Engineer ( Mechanical and Fabrication)
Our client, a prestigious turnkey engineering solutions company, focuses on steel and sheet metal fabrication, seeks to employ a Project Engineer to join their
dynamic
and progressive technical operations and projects team.
Please note this is NOT a management role, rather geared toward candidates at a junior to mid-level engineering career level, specifically with a background in fabrication and engineering solutions for the structural steel and high pressure piping sector.
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION
You will have completed a tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, coupled with 2-3 years experience as a Project Engineer in the heavy engineering and fabrication sector.
You will have a solid understanding of high pressure piping, welding/NDT processes and structural fabrication projects
You will have a proven track record in coordination of projects from quotation to installation, ensuring safety of all stakeholders, client satisfaction, quality of work within the time and budget.
You will have demonstrated expert organisational and problem solving skills, be able to communicate effectively and take ownership of projects to finalization.
You will be flexible to travel extensively when required.
You must have contactable references, a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
