Qualification and Experience:
Tertiary qualification in Mechanical engineering.
Qualification inproject managementwill be an advantage.
10 years plus experience in a relevant engineering/high tech/defence industry.
8 years’ experience in a Project/ Program Management role.
Proven experience in project managing multiple projects at a time.
Key Performance Areas/Accountabilities/High level functions:
Experience inProject Managementrelated to Engineering development, Production and Product Support.
The ability to identify and develop operations focused strategies and plans in support of the company strategies.
Ensure the efficient and profitable execution of all allocated programs and related contracts within the constraints of schedule, budget and scope of work.
Develop, execute, and maintain aproject managementplan for all allocated Engineering projects.
Ensure contractual requirements and objectives, utilizing resources effectively over the full lifecycle of the contract.
Ensure the conformity of program output against contractual requirements, as well as company norms and standards.
Manage the identification, assessment and mitigation of Product and Project risks.
Prepare Product and Project Definition during the Business Development process.
Assist to develop proposals/quotations in coordination with the Exco and Business Development team.
Assist with preparation and management of Product and Project budget from identification to completion.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers to ensure optimal performance.
Work collaboratively, negotiate, and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance.
