The Project Engineer will report to Head of Engineering Competence Centre Middel-East and Africa.
This role is based at Cape Town or JHB or Durban as PERI SA has offices nationally.
Roles And Responsilbilites
- Responsible for the independent execution planning and implementation of (sub-)projects, including coordination with relevant stakeholders and ensuring compliance with technical standards.
- Independent design planning considering the requirements of the technical consultant or in direct consultation with the client.
- Creation of proposal presentations and, if necessary, independent presentation of solutions to the client.
- Independent problem-solving and development of proposals based on this, including calculation and technical description.
- Technical leadership of (sub-)projects and guidance of involved employees.
- Independent preliminary static calculations to support planning.
- Cross-project collaboration with specialized departments and subsidiaries to optimize project outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Btech degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or BENG, BScENG Degree in Engineering
Skills/Attributes And Experience
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office and advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, BricsCAD, or comparable software.
- Analytical thinking with a strong focus on problem-solving.
- Good structural analysis skills
- Strong work ethic, open and dependable
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently while aligning with team objectives
Minimum Of 2 Years Formwork Experience Required
