General Description / Job Purpose:
The Project Coordinator will be in charge of the administration and co-ordination of the renewable
projects playing an instrumental role in supporting the Transactions team from project award towards the
financial close and the start of construction.
Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities:
Foster a close working relationship with other Red Rocket teams and external stakeholders,
including advisors, suppliers, off-takers, banks ; and
Coordinate activities within the different internal functions with the guidance of the Transactions team;
Support the Transactions team on the implementation of the Transactions procedure; and
Support the Transactions team in achieving Financial Close.
Specific Responsibilities:
Support in managing supplier and advisor engagements;
Coordinate and set up multi-stakeholder meetings;
Assist in due diligence reviews, including the monitoring of information lists and uploading of documentation to data rooms;
Support on the execution of Transactions phase documentation;
Prepare project investment memoranda on PowerPoint;
Prepare flowcharts and financial close process diagrams
Load and track payments on the Sage system to ensure suppliers and advisors are paid timeously;
Manage externally shared data rooms;
Manage the SharePoint filing of Transaction phase documentation and support on handovers of documentation to Asset Management;
Support on Conditions Precedent (CP) Checklists.
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Commerce (or similar) and/or Project Management qualification
Grade 12 Certificate
Minimum Previous Experience:
At least 2 years experience in a similar role.
Other Skills:
Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management;
Strong teamwork skills;
Strong working knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
