Job Overview
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator for a 12-month contract to support the successful delivery of ICT projects. The role involves coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation, and ensuring effective communication across stakeholders.
Role Purpose
The Project Coordinator will provide structured project support across ICT initiatives, ensuring effective planning, tracking, reporting, and coordination of project activities to support successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and coordination of ICT projects.
- Maintain project documentation, including RAID logs, status reports, and action trackers.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder communications.
- Track project progress against milestones and escalate risks and issues where necessary.
- Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks and reporting standards.
- Assist with resource coordination, onboarding, and vendor management.
- Support financial tracking, including budgets and forecasts where applicable.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4–7 years’ experience in a Project Coordination or PMO support role within ICT
- PRINCE2 Foundation, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification (advantageous)
- Experience in financial services, insurance, or large corporate environments is preferred.
- Good understanding of project management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).
- Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 and project tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
