Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the successful delivery of a high-profile youth employment initiative. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement programme strategies aligned to organisational goals and objectives.
Lead programme planning, governance, quality assurance, and budget management.
Manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful programme delivery and impact.
Identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks, issues, and dependencies.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, managing expectations and resolving challenges effectively.
Monitor programme performance through KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Postgraduate qualification or Programme Management certification (MSP, PgMP or similar) will be advantageous.
Minimum 5–7 years’ programme management experience with a proven track record of delivering complex programmes.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically, analyse complex information, and make sound decisions.
Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in additional South African languages considered advantageous.
