Vaimo is seeking an experienced Programme Manager tojoin our team. The Programme Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of a Programme or portfolio of related Enterprise Projects. Each of the related projects is overseen by a Project Manager. The Programme Manager ensures that each project within the programme is delivered according to agreed success criteria for the Programme health, profitability, goals, constraints and client expectations.
The Programme Manager works closely with the Project Managers responsible for the individual projects / streams in the Programme. The Programme Manager supports, guides and enables the successful delivery of each individual Programme project / stream. This includes reviewing, tailoring and aligning all project delivery processes, practices, tools and templates for each project / stream inside the Programme.
As Programme Manager you are responsible for managing Programme resources and are directly responsible for the Successful delivery of Projects.. The Programme Manager is responsible for setting the Programme plan with gates, milestones and inter-dependencies. The Programme Manager is responsible for managing changes, risks and stakeholders on a Programme level.
Overall, the Programme Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that Programmes are delivered successfully, and meet the expectations of the Programme stakeholders. A Programme Manager must have strongleadership,communication, andproject managementskills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A successful Programme Manager will achieve healthy, profitable Programmes with high levels ofClient Satisfactionas well as engaged and high performing Programme delivery teams and Project Managers.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Programme
Develop a clear strategy and “end in mind” for each Programme you manage
Develop and implement Programme plans, schedules, and budgets
Manage and mitigate Programme risks, changes and issues
Coordinating withcross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, technical leads, consultants etc.
Ensure thatproject managementprocesses are followed for each work stream, and that appropriate documentation is produced
Monitor and enforce compliance to the agreed/contracted delivery methodology and responsibilities
Ensure that an effective governance structure is in place
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a Programme Manager or similar role, preferably in the eCommerce industry.
Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and digital technologies.
Excellentleadership,communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in afast-paced environment.
Proficiency inproject managementtools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
