Position: Professional Nurse – Trauma Trained (BLS Certified)
SD Recruitment is seeking a dedicated, compassionate and highly skilled Trauma Trained Professional Nurse who is committed to excellence in clinical practice. The successful candidate will possess strong critical care expertise, exceptional attention to detail and a passion for maintaining quality standards while supporting the successful placement of nursing professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to trauma and emergency patients.
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care according to clinical urgency.
- Assist with emergency procedures and trauma resuscitation.
- Monitor patients’ conditions and respond promptly to changes.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with doctors and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with infection prevention, quality assurance, and safety standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Registered as a Professional Nurse with the relevant Nursing Council – SANC.
- Trauma qualification or accredited trauma nursing training.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Trauma or Emergency Unit (preferred).
- Must have a BLS certificate – essential
- Excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
