POSITION INFO:
Job Purpose
To provide comprehensive nursing care and management for the nursing treatment and rehabilitation for all health problems of individuals, groups, and communities as a practitioner.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing comprehensive primary health care services to the community including TB/HIV care, mother and child services, and general check-ups.
Implementing and monitoring various programmes.
Providing reproductive health exams and education.
Providing pre-natal and post-natal services.
Improving the health of the community through health education.
Implementing health and safety best practices and monitoring trends.
Liaising with the healthcare manager and other healthcare organisations.
Requirements (non-negotiable):
Matric.
Diploma in Nursing /
B.Curr.
Dispensing License.
Qualified Professional Nurse / Midwifery Nurse.
3-5 years experience as a professional nurse working in community healthcare or midwifery.
