Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to ensure precise deck and outdoor structure installation
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install various building materials using hand tools and power tools with accuracy and efficiency
- Manage the installation of framing, trim carpentry, masonry, tile laying, and flooring for outdoor projects
- Operate heavy equipment safely to prepare sites and facilitate large-scale construction tasks
- Install stairs, railings, decking, doors, and other components with attention to detail and quality standards
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and building codes while maintaining a clean and organized job site
- Collaborate with team members to complete remodeling projects, restoration work, or hardscape features such as patios or retaining walls
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on building construction or outdoor projects
- Skilled in carpentry including frame carpentry, door hanging, trim carpentry, and window installation
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Bluebeam is a plus
- Hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical work, plastering, caulking, stucco application, masonry, or tile laying is highly desirable
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately
- Experience operating power tools and heavy equipment safely in outdoor environments
- Knowledge of safety protocols specific to outdoor construction sites and working with building materials in various weather conditions
