Production Technician Jobs in Cape Town, South Africa at NDC Personnel & Contractors
In this role you will be responsible for managing line set-ups and changeovers, performing tool and equipment set-ups across manufacturing lines, and ensuring correct execution of procedures by production staff. You will set up and adjust production equipment, input production orders and parameters into relevant systems, and assist with production planning and scheduling. You will also provide technical support for breakdowns and repairs and contribute to maintenance and Lean initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a valid Trade Test, supported by an N4 Electrical qualification or Millwright background. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment is required, with strong hands-on technical ability in production machinery and processes. You should be experienced in fault finding, problem solving, and machine set-ups. The role requires willingness to work standby when required, and a valid driver’s licence with reliable transport.
