Production Supervisor – El Jobs in East London, South Africa at E2E Staffing (PTY) LTD
Position: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR – EL
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following outputs:
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Managing of Production Staff to ensure a motivated and high performing team
Dealing with production data, admin and ensuring accuracy.
Persistent and deadline driven.
Establish the budget for mould expenses and equipment including the control of consumable costs.
Controlling spares usage and costs.
Partnering with Quality to ensure the correct standards in accordance with ISO quality system are maintained.
Overseeing and assisting with training of all Production staff
Working with Quality to ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures.
Ensuring Proper housekeeping by maintaining a minimum score of 95% on the housekeeping checklist and 100% adherence to the dress code.
To be considered for this position applications must meet the following criteria:
COMPETENCIES
N3 a minimum / N4 or higher preferred.
3 – 5 years experience in a plastics manufacturing environment.
3 years supervisory experience in a production, fast moving environment.
