Production Operator / Machine Operator – 2nd Shift
Location: Imlay City, MI
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

As a Production Operator / Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in operating and monitoring production machinery, maintaining product quality, supporting production goals, and ensuring workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and adjust computer-controlled production equipment
- Set up and run production machinery to meet daily production requirements
- Coordinate with material handlers and equipment operators to maintain material flow
- Monitor and refill shakers to support continuous production
- Load, verify, and stage production materials and roll stock
- Perform machine adjustments to meet quality and production standards
- Conduct quality inspections, including weight and volume checks
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report equipment concerns to maintenance
- Communicate material changes and moisture levels to production personnel
- Complete production records and documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment
- Meet production goals while following all safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Production Operator, Machine Operator, Manufacturing Associate, Production Worker, Machine Tender, or Assembly Operator is a plus
- Knowledge of safe work practices and manufacturing procedures
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions in English
- Comfortable working in hot, cold, dusty, and outdoor conditions as required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to climb ladders and work safely at varying heights
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
