Job Overview:
Direct and coordinate all activities related to injection molding operations.
Responsibilities:
Interpret company policies to workers and enforce all safety and housekeeping policies, practices, and goals.
Run computerized reports, interpret injection molding schedules and work orders, and assign duties.
Set up molding machines to operate safely, produce quality products, and achieve optimal productivity.
Perform product changes, nozzle filter cleaning, and machine adjustments as needed.
Inspect products for conformance to specifications and adjust machine setups for quality and cycle time performance.
Support production operators for optimal performance and recommend improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency.
Analyze and assist in solving work problems.
Review and prepare daily production reports.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Train workers on safety procedures and serve as a role model for NDS Core Values.
Perform other duties as assigned, including supporting production workers, molding floor workers, and pallet movers.
Position Requirements
:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one year of experience in injection molding and manufacturing.
Certified or certifiable to operate an industrial forklift.
Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
Basic computer skills.
Knowledge of manufacturing practices, especially in plastics injection molding.
Ability to supervise groups of people.
Work
Conditions:
Occasional exposure to cold, hot environments, moving mechanical parts, and high noise levels (hearing protection provided).
