Summary/Objective The Production Coordinator is responsible for managing the production schedule, managing customer inventories, communicating with customers and working with production to ensure that the required parts are being processed efficiently and shipped according to customer due dates. Communicating with customers in a polite, professional and timely manner is crucial to the position. Managing floor space and capacity in receiving, shipping, and the warehouse is required to create a smooth operation of product flow at all times. Other duties as Required.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position has some indirect supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Shipping/Receiving Experience
- Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Education and Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing safety practices.
- 3-5 years Shipping / Receiving Experience
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Position requires availability of other hours as needed/required.
