Our client based in Cape Town is currently seeking a Production and Warehouse Manager to join their team.
Overview:
Supervise and manage production, warehouse and related functions.
Responsibilities:
Control scrap percentage
Control efficiency and production
Dealing with day-to-day related matters
Consolidating time sheets / clocking schedules or related requests
Generate a good housekeeping environment
Building morale in the department
Achieving production targets
Manage health and safety at the workplace
Manage loading / off–loading of deliveries and related
Manage regular stock ordering
Warehouse management
Controlling of department cost
Compiling weekly and monthly stock take
Assist the company from time to time with requested projects etc.
Requirements:
Matric
Diploma in Production Management or similar preferred
3-5 years’ experience
Production management experience
Additional Requirements:
Good and open communication
Time orientated
Accept and carry out instructions
Able to work under pressure
Able to work shifts
Health and Safety
Quality
Cooperative spirit in working with peers and management
