We are looking for a Produce Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a department, with knowledge of food safety regulations and the ability to lead a team of employees. The Produce Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department ensuring that all food is prepared safely and quality of product is held to the highest standards, and managing customer service and staff training. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of produce staff
- Order and stock product for department
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Train new staff in proper food handling techniques and safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure that all items are prepared according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure that all items are stored properly and rotated as needed.
- Ensure that all food items are labeled correctly and dated appropriately.
- Track gross profit and hit goals
Department managers are eligible to participate in our bonus plan
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour
